Meet February Cats of the Month: Peeta & Penny
Peeta and Penny may have come to HART as kittens from two different litters, but along the way they found something magical — a friendship with each other. These two gorgeous brown tabbies have grown up together at the shelter and formed a sweet, comforting friendship that reminds us that family isn’t always who you’re born with… sometimes it’s who you choose.
Penny came to HART with her family when she was just 2 days old, and has been waiting for a family for 8 months. Peeta came to HART when he was 4 months old and has been waiting 6 months for for someone to choose him. Because they’ve spent so much time with us, Peeta and Penny more than ready for a loving home of their own. Penny is outgoing, loving, and affectionate, while Peeta—once extremely cautious—has blossomed and learned just how special human-feline bonds can be. Together, they balance and support each other beautifully.
