Meet April Cat of the Month: Kuda
Meet Kuda, HART’s April Cat of the Month—and the birthday girl, too! This beautiful tortie just turned 13 on April 1st, and she’s celebrating her special month in the best way. Kuda is full of spunk, personality, and confidence, and she truly lives up to the classic tortie reputation.
Don’t let her age fool you—she still has plenty of energy and a big zest for life. She loves playing with a ball on the floor, racing through a tunnel, or batting at a wand toy like a kitten. More than anything, Kuda loves attention. She adores being close to her people and is happiest curled up in a warm lap, soaking up all the affection she can get. If you’re looking for a true companion cat who wants to love and be loved, Kuda is your girl.
Kuda is FIV+, but that’s nothing to worry about in a calm, loving home. Cats with FIV can live long, happy, and healthy lives, and the risk of transmitting it to other cats is very low—especially in peaceful households. There is no risk to humans or other pets. Kuda hasn’t spent time around other cats or animals before, so she’s still figuring out how she feels about them and may do best with slow introductions, or as the only pet in the home. To help her find the purr-fect forever home, Kuda’s adoption fee has been reduced to just $30, or $25 for adopters 62+ through HART’s Seniors for Seniors program.
